Welcome to Raith Manor, Kirkcaldy

Abbotsford Raith Manor is the newest addition to the group and is a purpose built care home situated in the heart of Kirkcaldy which opened its doors in August 2015, offering support to adults with dementia, physical impairments and an assessment unit which is in partnership with Fife Council.

We are a 60 bedded service spread over three floors. Each floor has their own communal dining room and lounge with a resident’s kitchenette to promote independence in a safe environment. Every room has an en-suite and we welcome our residents to personalise their room to their own taste.  A great deal of consideration and attention to detail has gone into the choice of quality furnishings, and all features incorporated into the design, which guarantees the provision of a safe and secure environment for residents, staff and visitors alike.

We strive to ensure our residents and their families are provided the highest level of care and support which is reflected in our grade 5’s given from the Care Inspectorate.

Our team of staff are highly trained, some of who transferred from other Abbotsford homes to share their wealth of skills and knowledge to this new project, to meet the needs of each individual resident. We work closely with our residents and their families to ensure their needs are met.

We are dedicated to providing a fun and stimulating environment and hold many activities, entertainment events and even have our own hair salon within the care home.

We are not just a home, we are an extended family.

"When my mother in law moved into Raith manor we as a family were apprehensive at first but are now very comfortable with her living at Raith Manor. We as a family are made very welcome by all, including the administrator, the nurses and carers and nothing is too much trouble when we ask. The catering and housekeeping staff are great at their jobs and looking after Betty's appetite and her room. The family can now feel relaxed and stress free knowing Betty is well cared for."
