Our Care Services
Care Planning
Before any resident joins the Abbotsford family, our professional care team assess their care needs to make sure we are able to provide the best support possible. We create individual care plans for each and every resident, taking time to take every aspect of their needs and choices into account.
We offer a range of care across our homes, from residential care for older people who need support with everyday life to specialist care for adults with learning disabilities and more complex support needs. We take the time to understand each person’s individual needs, helping to ensure they find the right home and the right care for them.

Residential Care
Residential care is for people who need additional support with everyday life and personal care, whether because of age, illness, dementia, disability or other individual needs. Our homes also support adults with learning disabilities, creating an environment where everyone can feel safe, respected and at home.
Residential care is centred around each person as an individual. Our teams take the time to understand residents’ routines, preferences, interests and abilities, providing the right level of support while encouraging independence and choice wherever possible.

TEMPORARY STAYS
Respite Care
Respite care provides short-term care and support for people who may need a little extra help for a period of time, or whose usual care arrangements are temporarily unavailable. It can also give family members and regular carers valuable time to rest, recharge or attend to other commitments, knowing their loved one is being well cared for.
Whether someone stays with us for a few days, a couple of weeks or longer, we take the time to understand their individual needs, routines and preferences. Our teams provide the same warm, person-centred care and support that residents receive as part of our wider care communities.
