A Place Like Home
Raith Manor is a 60-bed care home spread across three floors, with each floor offering its own communal dining room and lounge, alongside a residents’ kitchenette designed to encourage independence in a safe and supportive environment. Every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms and make them feel like their own.

At Raith Manor, we provide compassionate, person-centred care and support tailored to each individual. We support adults living with dementia and physical impairments, as well as providing an assessment unit in partnership with Fife Council.

Hello, I’m Kerry
My journey with Abbotsford began in 2006, when I joined as a student nurse on placement and quickly fell in love with the people, values and culture. In 2010, I returned to begin my career, working as a nurse before progressing into leadership roles. I became a Manual Handling Instructor and SVQ Assessor, discovering a real passion for training and staff development. In August 2026, I joined Raith Manor’s Senior Leadership Team as Practice and Workforce Development Lead. Since joining the team, I’ve been inspired by their passion for residents and the pride they have in their home.

What isn’t included in the weekly fee?
Our weekly fees cover accommodation, meals and snacks, laundry, personal and nursing care, and our activities programme. A few personal extras are charged separately, such as hairdressing, chiropody, toiletries, newspapers and magazines, clothing, and personal outings or escorts to appointments. Each home can give you a full list, so there are no surprises.
Can I arrange respite while exploring longer-term options?
Yes, a respite stay can be a good way to get support quickly while you weigh up longer-term care. Contact your preferred home to discuss availability.
Are staff fully trained?
Training is at the heart of our care. Abbotsford has its own SQA-accredited Assessment Centre, through which our team can gain SVQ qualifications in Social Services and Healthcare, right up to SVQ 4 in Care Services Leadership and Management. So the people caring for your loved one are supported to keep learning and developing throughout their careers.
