Abbotsford Care are currently recruiting Care Support Workers to join their team where we have both full and part time opportunities available. Our full time contracts guarantee on average 40.25 hours per week. In the role of a Care Support Worker you will be required to work both day and night shifts in accordance with the duty rota. We are also recruiting Care Support Workers to work permanent night shift contracts on either a full or part time basis. Our care home staff work 12 hr shifts across varying shift patterns - this will be discussed further during the interview process. Our team of Care Support Workers work together on delivering a high standard of personal care and provide daily support to our residents to enable them to lead as independent a life as possible offering them dignity, self-respect and privacy at all times. Our recruitment process is currently being conducted via a virtual interview platform due to the ongoing home working arrangements and COVID19 prevention. We will work with you through our 26-week induction and orientation program where you will develop the skills and knowledge required to begin your career with Abbotsford Care. You will cover a variety of training courses including Moving & Handling, Infection Control, Fire Safety, Dementia Awareness and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults. Abbotsford Care are an accredited SVQ employer and within our internal training department, our trainers will work with you to obtain professional training and development qualifications such as SVQ's in Health & Social Care at level's 2, 3, 4 as well as managerial qualifications.
