Sunflower Growing Competition

Jacqui our activities co-ordinator decided to arrange a Sunflower Growing Competition.
Jacqui had residents in Inchcolm and Colonsay pot their own sunflower seed. Once the seeds were up a wee bit they were planted into the garden in front of the sitting room windows. Jacqui, staff and residents checked the height reguraly. once the beautiful flowers were out in bloom they were measured, and the 3 winners were revealed. Prizes were given and flowers admired! It was a super project and caused lots of chatter about whows flowers were the tallest.
