Scarecrow Competition in Newburgh

The community of Newburgh organised a Scarecrow competition and we decided to join in!
The theme for the competition was 'sport' so we 'dived' right in and came up with the idea of a swimmer. The town provided a white suit which residents and staff filled with straw. Then all the bits and pieces were added until finally we had our swimmer. The week was a very windy one so sadly our scarecrow didn't fair well! However we had fun creating her!
