Every year, wear it pink raises around £2 million during Breast Cancer Awareness Month for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now
Strathburn Lodge just asked all to wear something pink and donate whatever you can on the 21st of October.The Staff and residents of Strathburn Lodge took part in “Wear it Pink” for breast cancer awareness on the 21st of October.
We wanted a day of fun with our colleagues and families; also was an easy way to raise money to fund cutting-edge research.
Everyone had fun finding something pink to wear for the day, and it was quite competitive. At the end of the day; £53 was raised for the cause.
Not bad at all, well done you all.
