On behalf of Abbotsford I attended the event to present the carer of the year award. It was a super night very humbling and heart-warming to listen to the various stories and experiences of peoples life’s within fife.
All people who were nominated were winners .i was just grateful that I did not have to make the decision of the winner as all worthy of the award. Entertainment was fantastic and it was a very enjoyable evening.
The young girl who won the award was Kahra Stewart from north east fife that had to grow up fast as she looked after both her parents. She was so mature for her 13 years which she had to be as she had responsibility at a young age. I was very proud to present her award and to be part of the event
