Families and stakeholders from the community visited Raith Manor on the 14th of August to take a look around the building and enquire about Abbotsford.
The blue ribbon was cut later in the day, and Raith Manor was announced officially open.
The open day invited many different groups of people to Raith Manor. Members of the Raith Rovers Football Club came and had their pictures taken with some of the residents. Later in the day, everyone attending filled out a card to hang on the comment tree. Comments on the cards (e.g. FABULOUS! FABULOUS! FABULOUS!) and verbal comments have all been very positive, making it very clear that everyone enjoyed the day.
