Winter Fayre

Abbotsford Headwell house staff, residents and family members worked together to raise money at the Christmas fayre, all monies raised went to the residents social fund
On the 12th of December the staff at Abbotsford Headwell House held their annual Winter Fayre, throughout the weeks leading up to the Fayre relatives and staff alike had been donating prizes for a raffle, which ranged from adorable knitted dolls to a large hamper full of sweets, which was donated to the home by relatives of a past resident, we also had donations from local shops within our community.
Our main raffle prize, the Large Hamper, was won by staff Member Carol Reid, along with the raffle we had a cake stall, where staff members sold various homemade cakes, relatives also helped by selling teas and coffees making the event a success the overall total raised through the sale of raffle tickets and on the day of the event was £264.49, we plan to use this money to purchase a Karaoke Machine for the home as all of our residents love to sing, and also to purchase a reborn doll, which will be used in Doll Therapy.
Our next Fayre will be at Easter time
