Christmas at Headwell House
Tuesday, 25 December 2018
December started off with our annual Christmas Fete, we then went on to Pantomime visits both to the Alhambra and inhouse from Shoogile road productions. Then is was time for the Ponies to visit all dressed up for Christmas. The Mac Bus also visited us this month with inventions from the past. Then it was time for our Christmas party with Jack High. Then the big day itself came Christmas.
December was a busy month here at Headwell House, we had plans for trips out and about, Christmas shopping, Christmas eating etc. We began with our Christmas fete where we raised over £850 for our residents’ social funds (see photos attached). We had trips to the pantomime to see Sleeping Beauty at the Alhambra. We also had a panto production in house from Shooglie road productions called White Christmas. The Ponies arrived all dressed up and again this was a magical experience for everyone young and old. The Mac Bus came for its last visit of 2018 with inventions from the telephone to the vacuum cleaner, this was a great reminisce afternoon. Our Christmas party with Jack High was a very lively afternoon with quizzes, charades, music, games and dancing. Then the big day arrived, and we welcomed several relatives to join us for a lovely festive meal served by Craig and Joe. What a wonderful Month this has been.
