Staff and relatives help raise money for the Sunny Days Children’s Fund.
Staff and relatives took part in a game of guess where the bus would stop. Each person payed £2 to pick a number from the sheet of 80 possible stops.
All numbers were picked and we raised £160.
£80 of which would go to the winner and £80 to the charity.
When all the numbers were chosen, the winner was drawn and Chambers Court Domestic Margaret won, she was delighted.
The money raised for the Sunny Days charity helps to give support to children under 18 years old with a wide range of adverse medical conditions including Leukaemia, Cerebral Palsy, the Deaf and Blind, Terminal Illnesses and all other hindering conditions.
The money raised by staff at Abbotsford Cowdenbeath helped to give support towards Isa who was diagnosed with a Wilm’s Tumour and Ryan who has a below knee amputation and wears a prosthesis.
