Primary School Easter Visit
Thursday, 17 March 2016
School children from Cowdenbeath Primary School visited Chambers Court with Easter gifts and cards for our residents.
We had a visit of 16 primary school children to the home and they were split into three groups with every group going into each unit and presented our residents with Easter gifts and cards that they had made at the school.
In Tiree unit they played parachute games with the residents, in Cumbrae unit they played floor dominoes and in Iona unit they played snakes and ladders.
All three groups had their turn in each unit and enjoyed all the games.
They then had juice and cakes before they all sang an Easter song to the residents in Spanish as they have been learning Spanish at their school. Everyone clapped when they had finished and resident Rose gave the children a tub of sweets which they all shared.
The children said that they all had a great time visiting today and the residents enjoyed spending time with them.
