Make A Wish - Edna

Edna's wish was for a violinist to play for her but unfortunately we were unable to arrange this so Edna was asked if she would like to visit Edinburgh instead as she used to live there.
We supported her to achieve this wish and on 25th August Edna went for a trip to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with the support from Care Assistants Ray & Jackie.
When Edna, Ray and Jackie arrived at Edinburgh they walked straight on to the Royal Mile and into the Fringe celebrations.
There was plenty of street performers and Edna pointed out a few of them. Even though it was busy Edna was quite settled, she even posed to have her photograph taken with the alien out of the predator films.
After a while they all went for lunch and as they all sat chatting having a cup of tea, Edna said she was enjoying herself.
After their lunch they went back into the Fringe celebrations and saw some more street performers before heading home.
Edna enjoyed her trip to Edinburgh, telling staff "it was a nice day out."
