On the day of the Men’s final at Wimbledon, the residents of Coll unit staged their very own Men’s final. Players involved were Billy and Alex. It was  an even match coming down to a tie break which players had to walk away and settle on a draw. A fun filled day was had by all residents, Karen, Gina, Alex and Brian didn’t mind posing for a few pictures beside our banquette of delights.

As the men’s Wimbledon final gets under way. Coll unit residents serve up a day of Wimbledon memories and winners. All residents joined in with guess the tennis player quiz and  some residents reminiscing of their favourite childhood winners and memories of fond summers spent watching the finals and playing games of tennis with friends. Coll units very own racketeers served up a nail biting final of their own. Alex and Billy took to Castlegait Manor’s very own centre court, battling it out to see who wins the Wemyss Wimbledon crown. It was a very close game coming down to a tie break, in the end Billy and Alex had to settle on a draw. The participants then Joined other residents to watch the final on television with some lovely fresh local strawberries and Cream washed down with an ice cold glass of Pimms or some fresh deuce. A fantastic day was had by all.
