Several residents from Barra and Arran have recently taken up a new hobby and are really enjoying visiting the local Bowling Club in East Wemyss every Friday to take part in some Lawn Bowls
As you can see from the photos, how smart everyone was looking all dressed in their white and grey bowling outfits, they sure do look the part! Irene Connolly, Committee member at the Bowling Club and also resident in Coll, Jessie Inglis daughter, has been the driving force behind the organisation of the weekly Friday gatherings at the bowling green and all the residents are thoroughly enjoying it.
