Smashing Afternoon Singing in the Rain

An amazing afternoon was had by all residents and staff on Thursday 8th February when Shoogalie Road Productions stopped by to provide us with their travelling stage show ‘Singing in the Rain’ in Coll Unit.
There was dancing and singing a-plenty and loads of laughs. The show was in memory of one of Coll Unit’s previous residents Bill Smith, who sadly passed away in 2017. Bill’s family paid for the entertainment provided in Coll as they said Bill loved to laugh and he loved musical entertainment especially when there was singers and performances in the home. One of Bill’s favourite films was Singing in the Rain so it was a fitting tribute to a very special Gentleman.
