Posing in Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Day!

Residents and staff from Castle Gait Manor in East Wemyss decided to do their bit for charity on Friday 19th October. Everyone decided to wear the colour pink to help mark the occasion. October marks the month for Breast Cancer Awareness and everyone at the Manor was keen to put their own stamp on this and ordered a fundraising pack online, complete with decorations for the home.
A grand sum of £50.83 was raised after staff, residents and relatives donated to the worthy cause and paid a small fee to wear an item of pink clothing on the day. The residents also enjoyed making some delicious treats and biscuits which were decorated pink too, of course!
