Staff at Abbotsford's Home in East Wemyss walked away with several of the prizes at the organisation's recent STAR AWARDS evening with Katy Johnston winning the carer of the Year, Natasha Lumsden the newcomer of the year,Angela Skilbeck being recognised for 20 year service to the organisation, Margo Beckwith for 15 years service and the top prize of care home of the year also went to the Castle Gait Manor Care Home.
The care home of the year was chosen by a panel of secret shoppers who visited the organisations recent pop up exhibition and spoke with staff from all the various Abbotsford Homes.
Home Manager Ann Fairgrieve added its been a challenging year but it so good to see the team recognised for all their hard work.
We are all looking forward to 2015 and the new challenges ahead.
