Christmas Party!

Today we had a Christmas party for our residents from all three buildings here at Cowdenbeath. Staff assisted residents up to the local Happy Club where the Christmas party was held.
Our domestics, Margaret and Connie, helped to set the table and put out a buffet.
Once everyone had arrived, Danny and Vicky from the Happy Club sang a variety of songs and Christmas carols as residents enjoyed the buffet.
After a while Danny drew raffle tickets for each of the buildings Christmas hampers. Well done to all the lucky winners, we hope they all enjoyed their prizes.
Then Santa arrived and came out to give all the residents presents while Danny sang Jingle Bells. They all opened their presents and were happy with their gifts. Some residents also had their photo taken with Santa.
Residents continued enjoying the buffet, with some having a little wine and lemonade while listening to more songs being sung. Residents Nona and Sarah also sang a few songs for everyone.
As not all our residents were able to get to the Christmas party, Santa then delivered a gift to everyone back at the home who couldn’t make it to the Christmas buffet. All residents really enjoyed this and their Christmas party.
