Bringing Autumn inside our home

Jacqui, our Activities co-ordinator, has been working with residents to sponge paint onto large sheets of paper in autumanl colours. The activity happens around the dining room table with several residents and staff able to work on the project together. It is messy fun!
We have an autumnal mural put onto the wall beside one of the entrances/exits to our garden area. Jacqui has had residents creating leaf shapes in lots of sizes to be added around the edges of the mural. One of our very creative residents suggested cutting out the leaves with crinkly scissors which really creates a super edge and only makes the leaves look more realistic! Some of our local school children are going to be involved in the project as it progresses!
