Tayside View, Newburgh

Welcome to Tayside View, Newburgh

The clue is in the name, wonderful location and un-interrupted views of the River Tay from many of the bedrooms and all dining rooms. A wonderful setting to spend some respite care time by the water. We have 2 beautiful suites available for those who would enjoy a larger room to relax in or continue some hobbies. These suites come with a large flat screen TV/DVD combo.

All bedrooms within the home are larger than normal and have en-suite wet floor shower and toilet. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with pictures, ornaments and small items of furniture.

We have many local residents who have been part of the community and we aim to maintain that link with residents visiting the town on a regular basis and visitors from the town are made most welcome at the home. We are re-establishing links with the Institute and would hope to attend lunch clubs there, and to invite the club to visit the home for lunch on a regular basis.

Raasay Unit is now registered for Adults under 65 years. This unit has a small fenced garden suitable for developing by residents including a vegetable plot. It is hoped that the local school children will be involved with this taking the home out into the community and helping the children in their education.

"I enjoy staying here, it’s not home but the staff make it very homely.  I have my own nick nacks in my room and this helps to make it feel like home.  There are lots of activities I can join i if I wish, which I do regularly.  I enjoy having a laugh with the staff and they are all very friendly and helpful".
Margaret - Resident
