She did it!!! She talked the talk and now she has definitely Walked the Walk!

Wednesday, 17 June 2015

She actually did it! Alyson Vale, Abbotsford's Business Development Manager took part in this years' MOONWALK IN EDINBURGH - 26.2 MILE MARATHON and has so far raised over £500 for Breast Cancer charity Walk the Walk.

She has told us:
'It is definitely the hardest thing I have ever done. I got to 20 miles and wasn't sure I could go on. But I did it!! I was so happy when I crossed the finish line. It took me 8hr which for my first time I was quite happy with. It was a great night and I would recommend it to anyone. We all want to support Walk the Walk Worldwide and the fantastic work they do for Breast Cancer Patients. My aim was to raise as much as I could to help them continue their work.'

The more people that know, the more money we can raise! Thanks in advance for your generosity - it means a lot!

Walk the Walk, often called the health charity, is dedicated to raising money for vital cancer causes including research into primary and secondary cancers, as well as supporting those that have cancer now. This one night is expected to raise in excess of £6million with the aim of granting 75% of the funds to benefitting charities and organisations.

Walk the Walk is also passionate about encouraging women and men to set their own goal to become healthier through Power Walking and taking responsibility for their own well-being.
