Star Awards Ceremony 2016

Staff from Cowdenbeath attended this year's Star Awards Ceremony at the Bay Hotel in Kinghorn where all the homes came together for a fun evening of celebration and entertainment.
Nominations from Cowdenbeath staff included:
Newcomer of the year – Aleksandra Jazdzyk, Jackie Clark and Zoltan Balazs which Jackie won, well done.
Housekeeper of the year - Yvonne Ireland and Roseann Marles
Nurse of the year - Wendy Boyle
Cook of the year - Laura Smith and Diane Drysdale
Carer of the year – Emese Mate
Maintenance of the year – James Crozier
Administrator of the year – Lee Haston
There was also long service awards for Barbora Ledvinova for her five years' service, Yvonne Ireland for her ten years' service and Mandy Ross, Heather Wilson and Wendy Boyle all for their fifteen years' service.
Employee of the year went to Chambers Court's RN Wendy Boyle, this was voted for by staff from all the homes on the night from the employees of the month for the last twelve months. Congratulations Wendy!
A successful night was had by all and it was great to have everyone together socialising outside of the workplace.
We are looking forward to the Star Awards 2017.
