Champagne & strawberry breakfast for all residents
Followed by a royal themed three course lunch
Entertainment from Pearl
Visit from “Harry” and “Meghan”
Buffet and music to end the day.

On the morning of the royal wedding all residents were treated to a delightful champagne breakfast with strawberries before they got all dolled up for the wedding celebrations. Our ladies looked a million dollars in their best hats and fascinators.
The gentlemen looked very dapper in their shirt and ties as well.
Our tables were set with place settings for each resident along with invitations to the wedding. As everyone took their seats our lovely cook brought the first course of chicken and mushroom soup. This was followed by a delicious main of chicken balmoral and king Edward potatoes and charlotte cabbage. Following this was delightful scones served with tea and coffee.

Our entertainer Pearl set up around 3pm and our ladies and gentlemen enjoyed a lovely sing-a-long and a little dance while their lunches settled.

We had a surprise visit from His Royal Highness Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan our residents were lucky to get the chance to snap a few photos with the happy couple. The happy couple took some time to cut the cake for our residents and let them watch their first dance.

We crowned our own King and Queen of Chambers Court which were Henry and Joan Robertson.

In the evening things started to wind down and our residents were treated to a lovely buffet and some more relaxing music to wind down after the days celebration.

We would like to add a special thanks to GREGGS the bakers for kindly donating some delicious cakes and scones for our resident to enjoy with their evening buffet.
